500th Tree Planting Celebration

Greening Greenpoint is celebrating the planting of the 500th tree of the project!  

Join us and your fellow Greenpointers in celebrating this milestone!

New York State Assemblyman Joseph Lentol and representatives from the Greenpoint Community Environmental Fund and New York State Attorney General's Office will be present to commemorate the achievement!

The tree will be planted at 725 Leonard Street and the event will begin at 4:30 PM with the tree planting ceremony! 

After the ceremony stick around to enjoy refreshments, plant in tree beds along Leonard St., and take some bulbs with you to plant at home!
